The China-Africa Cooperation Forum in Beijing adopted the Beijing Declaration on Jointly Building a China-Africa Community with a Shared Future in the New Era and the China-Africa Cooperation Forum - Beijing Action Plan (2025-2027).
China announced it will implement zero tariffs on 100% of products from 33 of the least developed African countries with which it has diplomatic ties, further expanding market access. Since 2005, China has been exempting tariffs on some African goods and has continuously expanded this policy.
China has been Africa’s largest trading partner for 15 consecutive years, and the tariff policy is expected to help reduce the China-Africa trade gap and promote the development of Africa’s trade structure and industrial chain.
